Organizational Structure

Born in 1968, he began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1992 subsequent to a degree in Economics and Commerce.
He was at Mediobanca between 1994 and 1998 and with Credit Suisse First Boston in London between 1998 and 2002.  He joined the Capitalia/Unicredit group in 2002, holding various management roles until 2011: Central Head of Advisory, Central Head, Head of Investment Banking Italy, CEO of UniCredit Corporate Banking S.p.A and lastly Head of Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Italia.
He was General Manager of Fondiaria SAI between 2011 and 2012.
He joined the TIM group in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer for the whole group.
He is married with two daughters and speaks English, German and French in addition to Italian.

Born in Udine on 12 July 1959, he has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Padua.

He has been the CEO of INWIT since 13 April 2018.

In July 2016, he took over the Technology division at Telecom Italia S.p.A.

In 2015, he was an advisor at Persidera S.p.A..

From 2005 to 2016, following the joining of Tim S.p.A. into Telecom Italia S.p.A., he had increasing responsibilities in the Technology area. First, he took over Network Quality Assurance and was then named Head of Delivery Services Operations (2008) in the Open Access division, Head of Operations Governance (2009), Head of Engineering & Access Network Development (2011), Head of Network Development, Operations & Governance (2012), Head of Networks (2014).

In August 1998, he joined Telecom Italia Mobile S.p.A., where he was in charge of the Business line in the Network Area and then had the position of CTO at Amena, the third largest mobile operator in Spain.

From April 1986, hired by SIP (then Telecom Italia S.p.A.), until 1998, he had various Central Plant positions and was Head of Networks in the Territorial Network Direction.

Born in Turin on 6 August 1963.

Since January 2018, she’s been Head of Auditing at Inwit S.p.A.

She joined SIP in 1989 in the Internal Auditing division, where she initially worked as an auditor and then as a supervisor.

Starting in 2006, she was in charge of Models and Programmes in the Revision division, first in the company of the Group TI AUDIT & COMPLIANCE Services and then in TIM’s Audit Direction.

Specifically, she dealt with the definition of methodologies and management systems of the revision process, guaranteeing quality control of actions, reporting of audits and ensuring reporting to the Organisms of Control and Governance at a Group level.

She actively participated in the adoption project by the TIM Group of Enterprise Risk Management and in the definition of the Organizational Model 231.

Before joining the TIM Group, she had several positions in the Foreign and Securities Office at Banca Sella.

She graduated in Economics and Business and has obtained numerous certifications, such as CIA-Certified Internal Auditor, CCSA - Certification in Control Self-Assessment and Quality Assurance Validator/Assessor.

Born on 15 August 1966.

On 28 January 2019, he joined INWIT S.p.A., in charge of the Legal, Corporate Affairs & Compliance division.

From 2017 to January 2019, he was Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs of the Sole 24 ore Group, dealing with the Training and Events area and Capital Increase. He was Chairman of Il Sole 24 Ore USA Inc., Board Member for 24 Ore Cultura; of the Business School S.p.A. and of TER - Tavolo Editori Radio.

In 2016, he was Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs at E.U.R. S.p.A. in charge of legal, human resources and organization, purchasing and services, and the corporate administrative office.

From 2010-2015, he was Director of Legal and Corporate Affairs at R.A.I., responsible for litigation, corporate, legislative, regulatory and contractual consulting. He was Head of the legal team for the IPO of Rai Way for the listing on the MTA of the Italian Exchange and the bond issue of R.A.I.

From 2014 to 2015, he was a member of the Board of Directors of RAI WAY. From 2012-2015, he was a member of the Board of Directors of AUDITEL.

From 2011 to 2015, he was a Member of the Legal and Policy Committee Union and the Legal and Public Affairs Assembly at EBU - European Broadcasting Union.

From 2008-2012, he was a Member of the Board of Directors at I.N.P.G.I. appointed by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and member of the “Contributions and Vigilance” Committee of the same body.

From 2003 to 2008, he worked at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, first in the Department of Information and Publishing as legal expert and then in the General Secretariat.

From 1992-2010, he was a Partner at the Lo Giudice Associated Firm.

He obtained a degree in Law from the Sacro Cuore Catholic University, Milan, in 1990. Since 1993, he has been qualified to practice law.

Born in Naples on 12 August 1971.

Since April 2015, she has been Head of Human Resources at INWIT.

In 2014, she filled the position of Head of People Value in the National Wholesale Services Direction. In October 2014, she became Head of People Value in Commercial Direction for the Central Territory of Telecom Italia.

From 2013 to 2016, she was on the Board of Directors of the company HR Services S.r.l. in Telecom Italia.

From 2005 to 2013, she filled several managerial positions at Telecom Italia as Head of Organization, Dimensioning and Processes.

In 1996, she joined Telecom Italia Mobile as a Total Quality specialist. In 2000, she worked in the area of Organization and Dimensioning in Human Resources.

She started her professional career in 1996, as a procedural analyst in Financial Management at Ethicon - Johnson & Johnson Group.

In 1994, she received a degree in Economics and Commerce at the University Federico II in Naples. In 1995, she completed a Master’s in “Advanced Economic Development of the Service Industry” at the G. Tagliacarne Institute in Rome.

Born in Rome, 9 July 1961.

Since July 2018, he’s been head of Institutional and External Communication at INWIT.

In 2015, he became the Head of TIM’s Press Office, responsible for relationships with all national and international media.

In 2010, he became Head of Telecom Italia’s Corporate and Regulatory Press Office.

In February 2009, he joined Telecom Italia as Head of Regulatory Press Office.

From 2001 to 2009, he was Economics correspondent and parliamentary journalist for the APCOM Press Agency.

From 1991 to 2001, he was a specialized journalist in economics for the IL Sole 24 Ore Radiocor Press Agency.

Since 1988, he has collaborated with Secolo XIX, Corriere Economia and Sole 24 Ore, as well as the ASCA Press Agency.

Since 1990, he’s been a professional journalist enrolled in the National Register and a member of the Parliamentary Press.

Born on 19 September 1970.

Following the 31 July 2018 corporate reorganization, he took on the role of CFO at INWIT as Head of Administration, Finance and Control & Business Support.

On 1 August 2017, he took over the Business Support division at INWIT S.p.a. 

From the foundation of INWIT until May 2015, he was a board member of the company. 

On 16 March 2003, he was hired by TELECOM ITALIA S.p.a. in the ADMINISTRATION FINANCE AND CONTROL central division, working in FINANCE. He took on the responsibility of GROUP TREASURY AND CAPITAL MARKETS in November 2006. On 1 October 2009, he took charge of CORPORATE FINANCE as part of the Administration Finance and Control division. On 30 May 2011, he was named Head of FINANCE in the Administration, Finance and Control & International Development division. 

On 19 November 2011, he was named Head of the FINANCE AND INSURANCE division in Administration, Finance and Control with the responsibility of ensuring, at a Group level, financial planning and treasury management and financial risks, the finding of financial resources on national and international markets and relationships with the credit system and ratings agencies, the creation and management of insurance programmes and the management of related claims, as well as financial activities connected to national and international  acquisition and sale operations. 

From 1 July 2002, he was assistant to the Finance Director at OLIVETTI S.p.a. 

From 16 December 2000, he worked in the Planning and Financial Coordination structure at PIRELLI INTERNATIONAL in London. 

From 1 September 1999, he dealt with the Planning of Financial Coordination at PIRELLI FINANCE in Basel (CH). 

On 1 September 1996, he joined the Pirelli Group, in PIRELLI S.p.a., in the ECONOMIC STUDIES Office. 

He has a degree in Economics and Business from the University L. Bocconi in 1995.

Gabriele Abbagnara was born in Reggio Calabria on 24 July 1964. On 28 January 2019, he joined INWIT, taking over the Marketing & Sales division.

From 1997 to January 2019, he worked at TIM S.p.A. as Head of the Commercial Area, first dealing with the development and completion of mobile services in the market of Central and Local Public Administration, then moving to the private sector in Central Italy, responsible for the formulation of TLC offerings for integrated landline and mobile services. He then dealt with the study and development of digital solutions in the local Public Administration market, specifically, the analysis and proposal of projects for Digital Agenda, Smart City and technological innovation for public healthcare.

In 1996-1997, he worked at Tandem Computers S.p.A. as a commercial officer, dealing with the introduction and development of fault tolerance systems in Finance and interbank payment systems.

From 1990 to 1996, he was at Bull Italia S.p.A., as a commercial officer, dealing with the introduction of IT solutions in credit institutions. He graduated in Economics and Business from the University of Messina in 1989.

Born on 27 February 1971.

Since 1 August 2018, she has worked at INWIT in charge of the Technology & Operations division, ensuring the scouting of technological innovation for the development of new services to market, processes of design and creation of macro sites, creation of microcellular coverage as well as asset/operation maintenance and management of sites and of company production assets. The division also ensures the optimization of rental costs and Information Technology activities.

In 2016, she took control of the Development Central Area division in charge of the Network Operation Central Area, ensuring executive planning and completion of core and fixed broadband networks and mobile access networks for the appropriate area, as well as the implementation and management of the property of radio base stations. 

From 2013 to 2016, she was responsible for Wireless Technical Requirement & Special Projects for the Head of Wireless Development at Telecom Italia.

In 2013, she was project manager for “special projects and working plans for mobile access networks” as part of General Direction for Wireless Development, following special wireless technology projects at Telecom Italia.

In 2000, she joined TIM as Senior Engineer in the Technologies and Industrialization sector of the Radioelectric Systems Development line in the general Network division, monitoring innovative WOS (Wireless Office System) technologies and adapting the TIM network to the architecture requirements for support in the network of new access services.

From June to September 2000, she worked for ALENIA SPAZIO as Senior Engineer in the Networks and Protocols area of the Communications department.

In 1996, she joined STREAM S.p.A. in Technical Direction as System Engineer in the Integration and Industrialization area of the Diffusive Systems Development Department.

She graduated with honours in Electrical Engineering focused on Telecommunications at the University of Tor Vergata in Rome in 1996.
